East Tennessee State University presents “Bucs Under the Stars,” a free public drone light show during ETSU Family Weekend and the university’s America 250 celebration. Music, games, family activities and food trucks begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the drone show at 8:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair. Ride the Tweetsie Trail during the Tweetsie Ticket Ride, a community cycling event supporting the Johnson City Railroad Experience. Riders will travel from the Legion Street Trailhead toward Elizabethton, stopping at historic sites along the trail and collecting raffle tickets along the way.
