Winged Deer Park is a significant green space in Johnson City, Tennessee, offering a wide range of activities and amenities across its 200-acre expanse. Established in 1991, the park features a rich variety of facilities catering to sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, and history buffs alike.

For sports and recreation, the park provides five lighted softball fields, three lighted soccer fields, and Batter’s Up batting cages. Disc golf players can enjoy an 18-hole course, while fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of a half-mile walking track and paved fitness trails meandering through the park's forested area. The park also includes a playground, soccer concession building, and facilities for sand volleyball.

Nature and history intertwine at Winged Deer Park's lakefront area, which boasts a public boating access, picnic shelters, a lighted handicap-accessible boardwalk, an amphitheater, and a Festival Plaza multi-use area. A historical highlight is the Robert Young Cabin, one of the oldest dwellings in Johnson City, alongside the Massengil Monument and the James H. Quillen Historical Tree Arboretum, adding a cultural dimension to the park's natural beauty
